Watch movies with Cineast

Cineast provides movies in Finnish, Swedish and English for all ages. You can loan up to 6 movies a month.

Go to cineast.fi and choose Blanka in the library menu. Choose a movie and log in with your library card number and your pincode. You do not have to make a separate account, if you do not want to.

You can use Cineast in the browser on your computer or with an app on your phone.

Please note, that as with Viddla, there are age limits for some movies. Cineast checks the age of the owner of the library card.

Library system update affects our services on Wednesday 22.6 at 22:00

Blanka libraries are updating the library software systems. This will affect some of our services during the night between Wednesday and Thursday. The update starts at 22:00 and is estimated to continue for about 7 hours.

During the update, you will not be able to use the web library to browse our catalog or view your loans.

E-materials should work as usual for customers who are already logged into their apps. You are not able to log in during the update.
